The Meaning of Labor Day
Labor day is a day to give workers for all of their hard work as well as celebrate what they have given back to the economy. To me, it is a day of no classes and another day to sleep in. I somehow feel as though this holiday does not apply to me yet, simply because I do not have a job. I have never had a real job. I am a director at a summer camp, but that is not nearly as significant as the CEO of a major corporation. When I have graduated from college and am in the real world, I know I will have a greater appreciation for the holiday but for now, it is a day off of school.
