Time and Space Bias: Israeli Evacuation of Gaza

The last remnants of Israelis left the Gaza Strip this past Sunday, ending an occupation that has lasted for the past 38 years. This may or may not help with attaining peace in the Middle East between Israelis and Palestinians, for now that the Israelis have proven that they will bow to the orders of the Palestinians, some Palestinian military leaders now hope that they can force the Israelis out of the West Bank in a similar movement. This momentous occasion in itself is an enormous slice of time-basis, in that it is a major turning point in the relationship between Israelis and Palestinians over a conflict that has been thoroughly enmeshed into their cultures. In areas where print media is more scarce news and stories of this movement will pass along in a time-bias media, even though, thanks to the internet, this event also has a grand side of space-bias.  
Through the internet and broadcast media an individual half a world away can witness, seemingly firsthand, the unprecedented exodus of Israelis through images, words, and perhaps even interviews with witnesses and/or participants. With the circulation of newspapers people have the opportunity to have a printed form of the story in front of them within a day of its occurrence- a strong supporter of space-bias.
Therefore this specific media event, as most seem, has pieces of itself in both space and time bias.
